Theodore Cavaliere, a graduate of Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY, holds a BS in Public Accounting and is highly experienced in finance work and selling financial products. Theodore Cavaliere holds several different licenses that authorize him to sell a variety of financial products. In the state of Florida, Theodore Cavaliere holds Insurance Licenses that qualify him to sell health insurance and life insurance.

These licenses also allow Theodore Cavaliere to sell variable annuities and fixed annuities, which are contracts between individuals and insurance companies which outline an agreement that the insurer makes periodic payments to the insured. In variable annuities, these amounts depend on a variety of factors, while in a fixed annuity, the payment amounts and income for the insured is a fixed amount. Theodore Cavaliere also holds a Series 7 license, which is also called the General Securities representative license. Through his Series 7 license, Theodore Cavaliere is authorized to sell individual securities such as stocks and bonds.

Theodore Cavaliere has stated that these licenses were critical for him to develop the sales and marketing experience that later qualified him for a position with HavaTampa Cigar. By getting hands-on and on-the-ground experience selling financial products and insurance to both individuals and companies, Theodore Cavaliere became familiar with all the nuances and details of effectives sales strategies, how to market a product, and explaining complex financial products in accessible language for the typical customer. Theodore Cavaliere describes the process of selling stocks/bonds as quite different from selling insurance, even though they both aim to provide financial security in clients’ lives by making a sound investment for the future.

Theodore Cavaliere also holds a Series 65 License, which allows him to charge hourly rates for financial services and financial advising. Typically, without a Series 65 License, financial advisors are paid through commissions.
